Description
The program mainly supports outstanding young students from the United States, especially learners or lovers of Chinese language and culture, to visit China for short-term study. Shandong University will provide tuition, accommodation, transportation, etc. during their stay in China. The main contents of the project are: immersive language learning, perception of Qilu culture and Shandong development, visiting Chinese enterprises and schools.
Curriculum
Day 1： Beijing entry, check-in and registration Visit China's leading enterprises in the fields of engineering and construction, internet and other fields Day 2： Travel to Jinan by bus, Opening Ceremony Familiarize yourself with the campus and visit the Museum of Shandong University Day 3： Language and Culture Integration Course (Family and Community) Chinese + Technology Integrated Learning courses Day 4： Language and Culture Integration Course (Education and Employment) Visit local middle schools in Jinan and hold exchange activities Day 5： Language and Culture Integration Course (Modern Qilu and Cultural Treasures) Study at the Center for Research and experience of traditional Chinese Culture Day 6： Visit and study at the World Heritage Site - Qufu Three Holes Day 7： Language and Culture Integration Course (Technological Life and Green China) Visit to Jinan Science and Technology Enterprises and Exchange activities Day 8： Language and Culture Integration Course (Spring Water Culture and Jinan Style) Visit the humanistic landscape of the spring city of Jinan and experience the spring water culture Day 9： Language and Culture Integration Course (Modern Qilu and Cultural Treasures) Visit to Shandong Provincial Museum Day 10： Language and Culture Integration Course (Technological Life and Green China) Visit to Energy and Power Research Institute and Ecological Aesthetics Research Institute of Shandong University Day 11： Language and Culture Integration Course (Modern Qilu and Cultural Treasures) Study at the Center for Research and experience of traditional Chinese Culture Day 12： Completion Ceremony Summary presentation of the students and exchange of views between Chinese and foreign students and teachers Day 13： Bus to Shanghai Visit to Shanghai Bund and Pudong New Area related companies Day 14： Departure from Shanghai
